Principal's Message

Mr. Anderson, Principal

Welcome Back Students & Parents,

I hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy your summer. Welcome to the start of the 2022 -2023 school year! Our teachers and staff are ready to welcome returning students and new families back for an exciting year of learning. We recognize that to be successful in school, our students need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our absolute best to fulfill our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

1) Attend school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience

2) Completes all homework assignments given by teachers

3) Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills

4) Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life

5) Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject

6) Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school and grow as scholars

My Goal, as the principal, is for most continue to put our students first! My belief is that all students can learn in any environment. As educators, we will continue to discover how each child learns to differentiate our instruction to support diverse learning styles. In a collaborative effort, we want children to thrive in all ways possible. My hope is that all children will love school and nurture a learning environment that is positive, safe, warm, caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow. All our teachers are incredible, and we are pleased with the many returning teachers from last year as well as the outstanding new teachers joining us! If your child is placed with a new teacher or one you do not know, please do not ask for a room change. Give it time and you will discover yet another impressive Bryant teacher.

The first day of school is, Monday, August 22, 2022, students’ arrival time is 8:45 am, and learning begin at 9:00 am. The school uniform attire is a white / red polo, worn with black pants / skirt (no jeans), and black shoes. I am truly looking forward to seeing all the children again upon their return. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the school for more information.

Sincerely,

Durrell Anderson,

Principal
